How it works
Apply at the Ngram Partner Program page. We review applications within 1–2 business days.
Share your link. Once approved, you get a unique referral link and a dashboard to track clicks, signups, and earnings.
Earn when they pay. Everyone who signs up through your link gets their first month of Basic free. You start earning when they upgrade to a paid plan.
What your referrals get
A free first month of Basic, no card required. They can try Ngram risk-free before deciding to pay.
Commission structure
You earn on your referral's first 12 paid charges, on whatever plan they're on:
20% of the first paid month
5% of each of the next 11 paid months
After 12 paid charges, recurring commissions stop, even if the user stays subscribed.
Monthly plans
If a referral upgrades or downgrades mid-cycle, the same rates apply to the new plan price.
Annual plans
If your referral signs up for an annual plan, you earn a one-time 30% commission on the annual price.
Worked example
You refer someone in January. They use the free Basic month, then upgrade to Plus in February.
February (1st paid month, 20%): $11.80
March – December (10 months × $2.95): $29.50
January next year (12th paid month): $2.95
Total: $44.25 across 12 paid charges
If they'd gone straight to annual Plus instead, you'd earn $169.92 as a single payout.
Cookie window
Referrals are tracked for 60 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up within 60 days, you get credit — even if they don't sign up right away.

Who can join
The program is open to anyone with an audience that overlaps with Ngram's users — content creators, agencies, consultants, course creators, newsletter writers, community leaders, and tech reviewers. You don't need to be a paying Ngram customer to join, though using the product yourself helps you recommend it well.
Promote your link wherever makes sense: website, blog, YouTube, social, newsletter, podcast. We just ask that you follow our brand guidelines and avoid misleading claims.

FAQ
Do I earn commission during my referral's free month? No. The first month on Basic is free, so there's nothing to earn on. You start earning the first month they actually pay.
What counts as a qualifying referral? Someone who clicks your link, signs up, and becomes a paying customer within the 60-day cookie window.
How long do recurring commissions last? For 12 paid charges per referral. After that, recurring stops even if the user stays subscribed. Annual referrals are a one-time payout instead.
What if my referral upgrades or changes plans? The same rates apply to whatever they're paying. If they upgrade from Basic to Pro in month 3, your 5% applies to the Pro price from then on.
What happens if my referral cancels? You keep everything you've earned up to the cancellation. Recurring stops at cancellation or after 12 paid charges, whichever comes first.
Is there a cap on total earnings? No cap on how many people you can refer. The only cap is the 12 paid charges per referral.
Can I create custom landing pages? Yes. You can build your own content and landing pages with your referral link, and generate campaign-specific links from the dashboard.
Do I need to be an Ngram customer to join? No, but using Ngram yourself helps you recommend it more credibly.
