Build ngram workflows in n8n
The ngram community node, verified by n8n, lets n8n workflows create videos and react to render events. Install it from the Nodes panel on self-hosted n8n or n8n Cloud, add an API key from Settings, and drop the nodes into a workflow.

Overview
ngram publishes a community node package, n8n-nodes-ngram, that adds video actions and event triggers to n8n. It calls the same public API as the other automation surfaces and uses an API key you create in ngram Settings.
Install the community node
The easiest way to get started is from ngram's verified integration page on n8n.io - it walks you through installing the node on your instance and lists everything the integration can do.
Or install it from inside n8n: click + in the top right of the editor to open the Nodes panel and search Ngram. It's a verified community node, so it's discoverable directly on both self-hosted n8n and n8n Cloud - an instance owner approves it once, and anyone on the instance can add it after that.
For reference, see the package on npm and n8n's community node install guide.
Add your credential
Create a credential from Settings β API Keys, then add it to n8n Credentials. The node sends the credential as Authorization: Bearer ngs_β¦ on every call, so a single credential covers every ngram node in your workflows.
Nodes
Example workflow
A minimal render-and-notify workflow looks like this:
- A Webhook or Schedule node kicks the workflow off.
- Create Video starts the render with your prompt and options.
- On Video Ready fires when the render finishes.
- An HTTP Request or Slack node posts the MP4 URL wherever you need it.
n8n FAQ
Does this work on n8n Cloud?
Yes. n8n-nodes-ngram is verified by n8n, so it installs the same way on n8n Cloud as it does on a self-hosted instance β search Ngram in the Nodes panel and add it.
How do I install the node?
Click + in the Nodes panel and search Ngram. It's a verified community node, so it's discoverable directly on both self-hosted n8n and n8n Cloud β an instance owner approves it once, and anyone on the instance can add it after that.
How do I authenticate?
Create a key in ngram under Settings β API Keys and add it to n8n Credentials. The node sends it as Authorization: Bearer ngs_β¦ on every call, so one credential covers all ngram nodes in the workflow.
What nodes does the package add?
Four actions β Create Video, Create From Text, Create From URL and Get Status β and two triggers β On Video Ready and On Video Failed β which fire on the video.completed and video.failed events.
Is it an official, verified ngram package?
Yes. n8n-nodes-ngram is published by ngram, verified by n8n, and listed at n8n.io/integrations/ngram. It calls the same public API as the REST, MCP and Zapier surfaces, so behavior and limits match everywhere.
