  1. Understand plans and pricing

Use this guide when

Use this guide when a generation stopped because credits ran out, purchased credits are missing, work remains paused after a top-up, or Usage shows a charge for work that failed or is incomplete. It also explains reset, rollover, reservation, and top-up rules.

Before you start

Preserve the existing conversation or project and copy its URL. Open Account & Settings β†’ Billing & Pricing for the balance and Account & Settings β†’ Usage for individual credit events. Confirm the active account or team before buying credits or retrying work.

What uses credits

Planning steps can use small fixed amounts. Images, narration, video generation, transitions, and focused Tools can use model- or duration-based amounts. Search and source-reading operations can be free even when the media they lead to is charged.

Plan-dependent charges

Some text, image, or audio operations are included on higher plans but charged on lower plans. Do not rely on a universal fixed cost copied from an older article. Review the estimate shown before generation and the final event on Usage afterward.

Reservations and final charges

A workflow can reserve credits before it begins so the account has enough balance to finish. A reservation or minimum shown during setup is not always the same as the final charge. Final usage records reflect the completed operations and generated duration.

Grants, expiry, and top-ups

  • Monthly credits on paid plans reset each cycle, and unused credits carry forward for one additional billing cycle.
  • Annual plans currently grant the full year's credits upfront.
  • Purchased top-up credits do not expire.
  • Eligible paid accounts can enable auto top-up.
  • Use the Advocate program for currently available earned-credit actions.

A safe first pass

  1. Keep the current project open or copy its URL; do not delete it or start over.
  2. Confirm the active account or team, then compare Billing & Pricing with the matching Usage event.
  3. If credits ran out, add credits or wait for the next eligible plan refresh, then reopen the exact conversation. Use a visible Continue, Retry, or recovery action once when one is offered.
  4. Verify that the balance and project status changed before running another charged operation.

If the result is not available

If purchased credits do not appear, refresh Billing once and verify the active account or team; do not repeat the purchase. If a topped-up project stays paused, reopen the exact conversation and use one visible continuation action. If either issue remains, or Usage shows credits for failed or incomplete work, stop retrying and request a case-by-case review. Include the project URL, timestamp, Usage description and amount, visible status, browser, and whether one retry was attempted. A review does not guarantee a refund or credit restoration. Never send payment secrets or access credentials.

Credits FAQ

My generation stopped when credits ran out. How do I continue?

Keep the existing conversation. Add credits or wait for the next eligible plan refresh, confirm the balance in Billing & Pricing, then reopen the same conversation and use a visible continuation or retry action once.

I bought credits, but my balance did not update. What should I do?

Confirm the active account or team and refresh Billing once. Do not buy the pack again. If the balance is still missing, contact Support with the purchase time and a non-sensitive invoice or receipt reference.

I added credits, but my generation is still paused. What should I do?

Verify the new balance, reopen the exact conversation, and use one visible Continue, Retry, or recovery action when offered. If it remains paused, stop and contact Support with the project URL and visible status.

Do I need to restart my project after buying more credits?

No. Keep the existing project, confirm the new balance, reopen the same conversation, and use one visible Continue, Retry, or recovery action when offered. Starting over can lose context and create another charge.

I already continued once after topping up, and the project is still paused. What now?

Stop retrying. Preserve the project and contact Support with its URL, the top-up time, current balance, visible paused status, browser, and the matching Usage event.

Credits were charged, but the generation failed or is incomplete. Will they be returned?

Check the matching event in Usage and stop repeating the charged operation. Request a case-by-case review with the project URL, event time, description, amount, and failure state. A refund or credit restoration is not guaranteed.

Do paid credits roll over, and do top-up credits expire?

Unused monthly credits on paid plans carry forward for one additional billing cycle. Purchased top-up credits do not expire.
